1925: Founding of Dennis Memorial Grammar School under the Diocese on the Niger.
1930s–50s: Academic consolidation, chapel traditions, and early sports successes.
1960s–80s: A generation of Old Boys emerges as leaders in business, public service, and ministry.
1990s–2000s: Modernisation of facilities and strengthening of alumni chapters across Nigeria and abroad.
2010s–2020s: Renewed emphasis on discipline, scholarship, and community service — the light endures.
2025: DMGS @100 — a Centenary of Light marked with thanksgiving, symposiums, and a universal call to keep the legacy shining.
